Abstrak
Aulia Computer Store, established in 2010 and located at Jl. Veteran Km 6, Sungai Lulut, Banjarmasin Timur, South Kalimantan, sells laptops and various computer accessories such as mice, RAM, flash drives, and hard disks. The store also provides spare parts to support technicians in repairing PCs, laptops, and printers. To manage inventory and administration effectively, the store requires an information system to address common issues such as overstocking—leading to unutilized capital—or stockouts, which can result in lost sales.
Currently, inventory and sales are recorded manually, making it difficult to monitor remaining stock and slowing down the generation of profit and sales reports. To solve these issues, a desktop-based application was developed using Microsoft Visual Basic .NET and Microsoft Access. This application records purchases, sales, and inventory levels, and can generate sales notes, inventory reports, and profit reports.
It also integrates the Moving Average Method to forecast inventory needs based on the previous three months of sales data. This helps optimize stock management and improve the efficiency of sales operations at Aulia Computer Store.
