Abstract
Hemat Pharmacy in North Barito Regency is a drug retail store established in 2014. Effective drug inventory management is crucial to ensure the availability of medicines required for the sales process. Shortages of high-demand medicines can lead to customer dissatisfaction, while excessive stock of low-demand medicines may result in financial losses due to expiration caused by prolonged storage. This condition creates an imbalance between medicines that are urgently needed by customers and those that are overstocked but rarely purchased.
Currently, inventory prediction is conducted manually based on estimation without mathematical calculations. Therefore, inventory prediction is needed to optimize stock levels and improve customer service. By implementing an inventory prediction system, Hemat Pharmacy can better meet customer demand and minimize losses from unsold or expired medicines.
This application utilizes the Decision Tree method, which is capable of building an accurate prediction model based on variables relevant to drug sales.
